Welcome to Half-Time. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Half-Time website and any purchases made through our online store. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Half-Time

Half-Time is an online retail business operating in South Africa under the trading name Half-Time.

References to “Half-Time”, “we”, “us” or “our” in these Terms refer to the operator of the Half-Time online store.

2. Products

We sell sports apparel, jerseys, jackets and related merchandise.

All our shirts are brand-new authentic, supplied unworn and with tags attached. Made from 100% polyester, each shirt is best cared for by gentle hand washing and air drying to preserve its colour, fit and overall quality.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, sizing information and prices displayed on the website are accurate.

Colours and appearance may differ slightly depending on your device or screen.

Product availability is subject to stock availability.

3. Pricing

All prices displayed on the website are shown in South African Rand (ZAR).

The price shown at checkout at the time the order is placed will apply to that purchase, subject to any obvious pricing or technical error.

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed before payment is completed.

Half-Time may change product prices at any time, but price changes will not affect orders already accepted and paid for.

4. Orders

Submitting an order does not automatically guarantee that the product is available.

An order is considered accepted once payment has been successfully received and the order has been confirmed by Half-Time.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is insufficient stock, an obvious pricing or product information error, suspected fraud or unauthorised payment, an inability to fulfil the order, or another reasonable operational or legal reason.

Where we are unable to fulfil a paid order, the customer will be notified and an appropriate refund or other remedy will be arranged in accordance with applicable law.

5. Payment

Payments made through the website are processed through a third-party payment provider.

Half-Time does not store customers' complete bank-card details on its own systems.

An order will not be treated as successfully paid until confirmation of payment has been received from the payment provider.

Where a payment has been received but a stock discrepancy occurs, Half-Time will contact the customer and arrange an appropriate resolution, such as sourcing replacement stock or processing a refund.

6. Pre-Orders

Products identified as pre-order items require a deposit at the time of checkout. The full product price, deposit payable now and any estimated pre-order lead or dispatch time will be displayed on the relevant product page.

The remaining balance will become payable once the item is ready, or close to being ready, for dispatch. Half-Time will contact the customer when the remaining balance is due, and the pre-order will only be dispatched once the full outstanding balance has been paid.

If Half-Time is unable to fulfil the pre-order, any deposit paid will be refunded or another appropriate remedy will be arranged in accordance with applicable law.

If the customer cancels a pre-order after Half-Time has already ordered or committed to sourcing the item on the customer's behalf, the deposit will not be refundable, subject to any rights the customer may have under applicable South African consumer law.

Any estimated pre-order lead or dispatch time is an estimate and may change due to supplier, import, courier or other circumstances outside Half-Time's reasonable control. Where a material delay occurs, Half-Time will communicate with the customer where reasonably possible.

7. Delivery

Half-Time currently delivers within South Africa using the delivery methods displayed at checkout.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, public holidays, high-volume periods, incorrect delivery information, remote areas or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery details.

8. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Half-Time does not offer returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind or where a customer selects the incorrect size.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the available size guide and selecting the correct size before placing an order.

If Half-Time sends an incorrect size or item, we will arrange an appropriate exchange at no additional cost to the customer.

Refunds or exchanges may also be available where an item is damaged, defective or otherwise qualifies for a remedy under applicable South African consumer law.

Sale, clearance and promotional items are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange or refund due to change of mind, incorrect size selection or preference.

This does not affect any statutory rights relating to defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.

9. Sizing & Customer Selection

Customers should review the available sizing information before ordering.

Where an item is supplied exactly as ordered and is not defective, Half-Time is not responsible for an incorrect size selected by the customer.

10. Product Availability

Products displayed on the website may sell out without notice.

Our systems are designed to track available stock, but temporary discrepancies may occur due to simultaneous purchases, system delays or inventory errors.

Where a paid order cannot be supplied, Half-Time will contact the customer and provide an appropriate lawful resolution.

11. Intellectual Property

The Half-Time name, website design, graphics, original content, branding and other materials belonging to Half-Time may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially used without permission.

Third-party names, club names, trademarks and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Website Use

You may not interfere with the operation or security of the website, attempt unauthorised access, submit fraudulent orders or payment information, abuse automated systems or use the website for unlawful purposes.

Half-Time may restrict access where we reasonably believe the website is being misused.

13. Personal Information

Half-Time processes personal information required to operate the store, fulfil orders, provide customer support and conduct related business activities.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy & POPIA Policy and applicable South African law.

14. Communications

When you place an order, you may receive transactional communications including payment confirmations, order updates, delivery information and customer-support messages.

Marketing communications will be handled separately and in accordance with applicable consent and direct-marketing requirements.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Half-Time will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Third-Party Services

Half-Time may use third-party providers for payment processing, website hosting, email delivery, database infrastructure and courier services.

These providers may process information where reasonably necessary to provide their respective services.

17. Changes to These Terms

Half-Time may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be published on the website together with the date it was last updated.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Nothing in these Terms restricts a customer from exercising rights available under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.
